Hi, I’m Kim Staudenraus, Dave Ramsey Certified Financial Counselor.  A Christian and yet someone who has  made mistakes and continue to make mistakes while learning and growing both professionally and personally with my walk with God.

My belief is that all mistakes make you grow, and learn and that learning is an endless process and anyone can be successful if they are willing to work toward improvement, are honest and focused on the right things.

In 1993, I was in debt and had nothing to show for it. When the bank told me I had too much debt to buy my first home, I decided to start living below my means and pay off all my debt and live on a cash only basis (that was 6 years before I knew who Dave Ramsey was) and now I am living in financial freedom except for my new home which I purchased this year from the proceeds from the sale of first home (that was paid off)  and from my budgeting plan will have this home paid off in three short years.

Around 1999 I was introduced to Dave Ramsey and his debt free concept of living life.  From my own incredible journey I had a desire to help others become debt free so I paid for and attended training at the Lampo Group with Dave Ramsey and became a certified financial counselor through his team.  From that I founded Tranquility Financial Visioning, LLC in which I offer coaching, mentoring and educational services for those who are searching for assistance in becoming debt free so they can share in the experience of living in financial freedom.

Through the years I have become very familiar and well versed in “life” as a whole and have learned that  money has an impact on all parts of life including, jobs, relationships, family, and the balance of them all.    This blog is a natural extension of those experiences.   I believe we are all a “life coach”  and as such I want to share my  experiences so other can learn from them.  In the financial realm, I credit  Dave Ramsey for his large arena of information that is used and referenced in some of my posts,  from  his website, radio & tv show and of course the training I received from him and his team and thank him for allowing me to share that information in addition to my own life and coaching experiences.

In the realm of my life experiences I credit so many who have touch me, from my my family & friends, to my employer of almost 17 years now, to Bob & Charlyne Steinkamp at RejoiceMinistries.org and most importantly my covenant husband for whom I stand.  All of these sources and more help me express, teach and share how to become a better person and improve relationships.

In addition to this site, and my services at TFV, I have founded and participate in an online community forum, LifeandFinances.com, a place to share your experiences, meet new people, get inspiration and support.  Please feel free to visit that community and become a member and let’s get to know each other.

Dealing with life experiences is something we all go through and living in financial freedom is a feeling that everyone has the opportunity to enjoy, a freedom that is far reaching from just the financial side, and I am here to help those searching for that freedom as much as possible with as much accurate honest information as I can provide.

My goal is to share with others the process of getting out of debt, manage money, build savings & wealth to share with others, as well as the things that really matter in life, like family, friends and relationship with Christ.
