Hurting & Broken Marriages

Many times financial troubles cause or are related to marital troubles.  Other times the actual cause of a broken marriage is not really known, one spouse makes a choice to walk away.    Either way, the hurt is the same.

Sadly, from my own experience, I know  the hurt and pain associated with a hurting and broken marriage.  I am also aware that God intended marriage to be until death, it is not in his plan for marriages to end in divorce.  I have  received much hope and encouragement from the below website.  I am a faithful stander.

“For I hate divorce!” says the Lord, the God of Israel. “To divorce your wife is to overwhelm her with cruelty,” says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies. “So guard your heart; do not be unfaithful to your wife.” Malachi 2:16 (NLT)

There is hope!

A couple, Bob & Charlyne Steinkamp, founders of Rejoice Marriage Ministries, were divorced for nearly two years.  Charlyne began to stand for her marriage.  Through prayer, faith, and Bible study God restored their marriage – that was over 20 years ago.  Through their experience they now minister to others living in a hurting or broken marriage, going through divorce or those already divorced.  God is the answer.

Below is Charlyne’s daily audio message, it is short  but full of guidance.  May I also encourage you to visit Rejoice Marriage Ministries and sign up for Charlyne Cares daily devotional for encouragement and guidance during this season of hurt and pain.

… “No chance at all if you think you can pull it off yourself. Every chance in the world if you trust God to do it.” Matthew 19:25 (The Message)
