Have you ever been so distraught over something that you would tell your issue to total stranger? Maybe you have been so angry you ended up writing a blog post that tells the whole world about who did you wrong.
In this day and age people are so busy they don’t have time to really listen to the people they love or those who love them. Social media has taken over as the primary means of communication for many. Many no longer have “live” friends, they are all online friends.
Personally, I have realized this in my coaching. I thought when someone signed up for coaching they hired me to get help them with their life and/or finances. Don’t get me wrong, I believe they want me to help with their life and/or finances. Deep down they also need someone to talk to , they need someone who will listen to them. Someone to listen to their fears, concerns, sometimes even their hurts. They need someone to just listen and understand what they are going through.
Are you in this situation today? Do you need someone to listen to you? Do you need someone to really hear what you are saying and understand how you feel? Reach up to Christ first, He is always be there to listen to you, to sooth you during your times of hurt. He will take away your fear, hold you in His arms and give you comfort.
When you can’t count on earthly friends, even those online friends maybe offline when you really need them….God will always be there. I know, He is always there for me, He has helped me through some terrible times in my life. He will help you too.
Go ahead, put your trust in Him and see how He will listen to you.

Very good sermon!
Hi Kurt! Thank you, I’m happy you liked the post.
I usually have the same situation every Sunday at church.
All they want to do is talk and know that someone is really listening.
Same thing happens on the massage table. Maybe they dont need a massage but they know they have me captured for the hour or so that they are on the table and they really open up and speak from the heart.
Thank you Frank.
